In early October, the Pacific Life Foundation proudly partnered with KABOOM!, the City of Santa Ana, Santa Ana Parks and Recreation, and our strategic distribution partner FFR, to build a new, kid inspired playground at Sandpointe Park in Santa Ana, California.
This marks Pacific Life’s 13th playground build, and it was more than just a construction project—it was a celebration of community, collaboration, and shared purpose.
Pacific Life Volunteers gathered alongside FFR team members to support KABOOM!’s mission to end playspace inequity and Pacific Life’s commitment to making a positive impact in our communities for current and future generations.
“Pacific Life is honored to join our business partner FFR to build this playground in Santa Ana,” said Darryl Button, Pacific Life President and CEO. “We are proud to be giving back and helping to improve the community where we live and work.”
The playground design was inspired by local children, who shared drawings of their dream playspaces earlier this summer. Their ideas were brought to life through the collaborative efforts of volunteers who assembled playground equipment, participated in painting projects and installed features that promote physical activity, creativity and social connection.
