Pacific Life Employees Opened Up a World of Audiobook Wonders for Kids in Our Communities | May 2021

schedule 4 minutes

As part of our 2021 Virtual Week of Service event, more than 370 Pacific Life volunteers lent their talented voices to record audiobooks for kids in need. Several of our dedicated volunteers recorded more than one, or two, or three books! Because of our volunteers’ passion for making a meaningful impact, more than 400 audiobooks were recorded and donated to local nonprofit partners and global charities as part of a digital library.

Children’s literacy and education has always been an important cause for Pacific Life and these audiobooks will be giving the joy of books to blind children, to children from underserved communities, to sick children in hospitals, to children who are struggling with learning how to read, as well as to hundreds of families in our communities. The entire digital library of Pacific Life audiobooks was provided to Blind Children’s Learning Center, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Orange Coast, HumanKind, Miriam’s House, Project Harmony, Reading to Kids, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Omaha, and many more!

Pacific Life is proud of our amazing volunteers who worked together, while apart, to live our PACIFIC core value of Community!
