Communities

Living our Pacific Life Core Value of Community means that we invest in making a meaningful impact locally and globally. We do this through our philanthropic giving, our volunteering, and our impact investments.

Investing in our Communities

Together with Pacific Life, our Pacific Life Foundation has made philanthropic investments totaling more than $150 million to nonprofits over the past four decades. The power of our giving has a meaningful impact on our communities in Orange County, CA, Omaha, NE and Lynchburg, VA. We focus our community investments namely in the areas of: arts & culture; civic, community & economic development; education; environment, ocean health & marine mammals; and health and human services. Our 2024 Grant Funding Cycle application period is currently closed. The 2025 Grant Funding Cycle will be open July 15, 2024 - August 15, 2024.

Impact Investments

Our impact investments have helped thousands of families live a more dignified life. We are a founding member of Impact Community Capital, whose goal is to bring about social change through investments in underinvested communities by providing affordable housing, healthcare, childcare, and economic opportunities while also enabling investors to unleash the power of capital to transform communities in scale.

Financial Security

Supporting individuals and families with their financial needs and goals is at the heart of Pacific Life. To align with this mission, the Pacific Life Foundation announced new investments of $1.25 million over the next five years benefiting low-income families and students through Orange County United Way and Junior Achievement USA.
