BUSINESS HISTORY
Ms. Cushing serves as executive vice president and chief human resources officer (CHRO) at Pacific Life where she is responsible for the company’s global human resources strategy, including talent management, leadership development, and compensation and benefits. Ms. Cushing is also a member of the Pacific Life Management Committee.

In her role as CHRO, Ms. Cushing brings a wealth of experience leading cultural transformations as well as developing and executing large-scale HR strategy, leadership, and professional development initiatives. Before joining Pacific Life in April 2024, Ms. Cushing held the role of CHRO at both Silicon Valley Bank and Loews Corporation, respectively.

Prior to that, Ms. Cushing spent more than 20 years in senior leadership positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co., including head of talent management & organizational development where she implemented a strategic people and business agenda for 120,000 employees, and worked closely with senior leadership to redesign many core HR functions including talent management, succession planning, and learning & development strategies for executives through individual contributors.
