BUSINESS HISTORY
Mr. Orlandi serves as executive vice president and general counsel at Pacific Life where he oversees the Office of the General Counsel, which includes Enterprise Law & Compliance, Government & Policy Affairs and the Corporate Secretary’s Office. Mr. Orlandi is also responsible for the Company’s Corporate Affairs portfolio, including the Brand, Communications, Community Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility programs and is a member of the Management Committee and a director of the Pacific Life Foundation.

Prior to joining Pacific Life in 2020, Mr. Orlandi served as executive vice president and chief operating officer at Transamerica where he was responsible for all business support functions, including law and compliance, communications and public affairs, human resources, corporate development, strategy, enterprise technology, data and analytics, information security, and marketing. Mr. Orlandi served for several years as Transamerica’s chief legal officer. Mr. Orlandi also served as the acting CEO for the company’s Individual Solutions business including life and long-term care insurance, fixed and variable annuities, and mutual funds. He was a member of the Board of the Transamerica Venture Fund, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, and the Institute for Legal Reform, and chaired the Boards of the Transamerica Foundation and the Transamerica Institute.

With more than 20 years of legal experience, Mr. Orlandi began his career in private practice with a boutique law firm in Los Angeles handling insurance regulatory and complex business litigation matters.
