Pacific Life Foundation

The Pacific Life Foundation has proudly supported the annual Theatre for Young Audiences at the South Coast Repertory (SCR) since its inception in 2003.  Theatre for Young Audiences is a series of three stage productions created especially for children and their families. The productions include original, SCR-commissioned world premieres and existing adaptations of popular and classic children's literature.

The series strives to introduce the vitality and magic of professional theatre to all Orange County children - especially those in underserved areas - in an academically significant way at no cost to K-6 schools. Performances are also held on the weekends for families.

The 2013-2014 Theater for Young Audiences season includes:

  • Ivy & Bean, The Musical (November 8 - 24, 2013)
  • James and the Giant Peach (February 7 - 23, 2014)
  • The Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales (May 23 - June 8, 2014)
