Pacific Life Foundation

The Jessie Rees Foundation is fortunate to continue Jessie’s legacy with the help of Compassionate Corporations like Pacific Life. Over the past two years, the Jessie Rees Foundation teamed up with the Pacific Life Foundation to collectively stuff, pack and ship 25,000 JoyJars® to brighten the spirits of Courageous Kids around the globe during their battle against cancer.

This year’s second-annual Pacific Life Employee Week of Service program, held every November, allowed for more than 1,500 Pacific Life employees to volunteer during their workday at the Aliso Viejo, Newport Beach, and Omaha offices to fill 15,000 of Jessie’s JoyJars to send to kids fighting cancer around the world. Offices in Virgina and Washington also participated in spreading Jessie’s JOY with special notes of encouragement!

Jessie’s Daddy, Erik Rees, said, “Teaming up with the Pacific Life Foundation for a second year has been amazing. We loved working with Pacific Life and its associates and watching them stuff 25,000 of Jessie’s JoyJars with great care. Pacific Life is truly the most Compassionate Corporation we have teamed up with.”

It was Jessie’s Wish to “help every kid fighting cancer to Never Ever Give Up!” and generous contributions from private donors and corporations like Pacific Life have enabled the Jessie Rees Foundation to send more than 150,000 JoyJars to kids fighting cancer around the world.
