Tell us about your career path and how you got to where you are today. 

While studying finance at the University of Nebraska Omaha, I fell in love with stocks, bonds, and understanding the market. One of my professors was an employee at Pacific Life. He hosted a panel with people from Pacific Life and I really enjoyed it. After I finished school, Pacific Life’s Talent Acquisition team reached out and invited me to apply. I was thrilled when I was offered an opportunity to join Pacific Life in my current role as a Sales Associate.
 

Tell us about your job responsibilities and what a typical day looks like for you. 

I am currently working towards my Series 63 license. I have one more exam to go, so half of my day is devoted to studying. The other half of my day, I am working with wholesalers and supporting them when they’re out in the field.
 

How has Pacific Life supported your career growth and development?

My growth and development has been supported by my training and exams during the first several months in my role. Pacific Life knows that these exams are essential for me to be a successful employee, so they allow us to put that first in our everyday work.
 

What do you do when you are not working?  

I spend a lot of time with my husky, Snow. She requires a lot of exercise, so I try and keep her going as much as possible. If I am not with her, I am hanging out with my friends or family.
