Pacific Life’s commercial servicing operation offers its clients a customized and flexible approach to managing, monitoring and servicing their assets and portfolios. Currently the operation provides systems and processes that support commercial mortgage and real estate investments, aircraft and aircraft leases, and other specialized investment instruments.
Growth of the company’s commercial servicing business has been carefully managed with strict attention to maintaining high quality standards while creating consistent process efficiencies. Parts of the operation are organized according to asset type and line of business, in order to meet the specialized servicing requirements unique to a particular client and/or asset type. Administrative services common across asset types and lines of business are structured along functional lines.
Pacific Life’s perspective as a direct investor provides the foundation for its general servicing and administrative support operations. Emphasis is on individualized, detailed analyses by experienced professionals across all areas. This personal approach is supported by various automated data processing and reporting applications. Pacific Life services CMBS transactions as well as private institutional portfolios and is also the special servicer for most of those transactions. The Company is an experienced construction lender and servicer with a substantial loan and project portfolio.
