$75,000 Grant Award Recipient

Earlier this year, the Pacific Life Foundation contributed $75,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Ana’s (BGSSA) Expansion Campaign, which includes the building of a new 3,500 square-foot dedicated space for the Club’s Teen Center. Recently, Club leadership and youth members kicked off the construction with a festive groundbreaking ceremony. The Center is slated to open this fall.

The new teen center will be the largest in Santa Ana, California and is designed to help Club teens discover their passions by learning new skills, including technology, culinary arts, health, and physical fitness. To help ensure that the Club teens have a plan for their future, additional programs and support will be provided to encourage on-time high school graduation, college preparedness, and job training.  Since 1954, BGCSA has provided a positive, healthy learning environment for children ages 6-18 in one of the most disadvantaged communities in the United States.
