Funding Categories
Health and Human Services
Funding areas include domestic violence, homelessness, hunger relief, mental health, oral health, physical/developmental disabilities, and senior services. Support is provided to programs that improve the quality of life and health of disadvantaged individuals.

Civic, Community, and Environment
Funding supports the protection and preservation of the natural resources of the environment. Community and civic programs that promote leadership training, civic responsibility, and diversity for young adults are also included in this category.

Education 
Contributions in this category are predominately for K-12 education in the arts, environment and science programs, as well as after-school mentoring and tutoring programs. Funding is also provided for adult literacy, industry education, and broad-based community programs offered by higher-education institutions.

Arts and Culture
Nonprofit agencies funded in this category provide artistic and cultural programs that contribute to a vibrant and diverse arts and cultural sector in the community. Types of organizations include performing arts centers and museums.
