Pacific Life's New Pacific Destinations O-Series Variable Annuity
Offers Edward Jones Clients Low Fees Plus No Up-Front Sales Charge


Newport Beach, Calif. (January 12, 2012)-Pacific Life Insurance Company's Retirement Solutions Division has launched a new variable annuity, Pacific Destinations O-Seriessm , that offers the low mortality, expense, and administrative fees of an A-share product without an up-front sales charge. A premium-based charge will apply to each purchase payment and is deducted quarterly over a seven-year period. The product, targeted for release on January 9, may be appropriate for clients of Edward Jones who want their money to start working for them immediately.

Pacific Life's comprehensive product line for Edward Jones now includes fixed and variable annuities (including A-share and O-share versions of Pacific Destinations), mutual funds, and life insurance products.

The Pacific Destinations O-Series product includes The Power of Diversification, a selection of four investment asset allocation categories that make it easy for clients to choose the best mix of investment options for their individual needs. For an additional cost, it also offers a choice of two optional guaranteed withdrawal benefits. Automatic Income Builder enables clients to receive income for life with automatic increases, and CoreIncome Advantage5 Plus (CIA5 Plus), gives clients the ability to lock in market gains and an income that can continue for life.
