Business History
Mr. Yoost retired in 2005 as a senior partner, after a 32 year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers.  During this period, he held a variety of leadership positions and lived and worked in Tokyo and Beijing for fourteen years.  At his retirement, Mr. Yoost was the firm’s Managing Partner in Orange County and the region leader of its Advisory practice.  In 2001, he was elected as director for four years to the board of PWC International Limited, the coordinating entity for the global network of firms.  Mr. Yoost has been involved in virtually all areas of international trade and investment, and has served a number of industries including financial services, consumer products, technology, distribution, services, and manufacturing.

Mr. Yoost has been named four times as one of the top tax advisors by the International Tax Review.  He is currently a trustee of the University of California, Irvine Foundation and the Chairman of the Executive Board of the University of California, Irvine Joslin Diabetes Leadership Council.  Mr. Yoost served as Treasurer, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Board Member of the Southern California Committee for the Olympic Games.

Mr. Yoost is also a director of Emulex Corporation, a leading source of advanced storage networking infrastructure solutions, and of UnionBanCal, a NYSE-listed bank among the twenty-five largest banks in the United States.

Pacific Life Responsibilities
Mr. Yoost currently serves as a director of Pacific LifeCorp and serves on the Audit Committee, the Investment & Finance Committee, and the Corporate Interests Committee.
