Newport Beach, Calif. (October 22, 2007) – Andrew Oleksiw has joined Pacific Life Insurance Company as senior vice president of business development. In this role, he will lead the Corporate Business Development Unit, which was established earlier this year to pursue new business opportunities in the insurance marketplace.
Mr. Oleksiw has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, he served as head of Asia Pacific for MetLife and as executive vice president of MassMutual Financial Group, where he was in charge of International, M&A/ Corporate Development, Large Corporate Markets, and the Income Management Group. He also has significant experience in the banking and capital markets, including international, private banking, and credit and risk management.
Mr. Oleksiw holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and a master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University. He also has completed the Senior Executive Program at Columbia University School of Business.
