Mr. Denhert began his career in 1978 as a financial analyst with The Flying Tiger Line, Inc. (Federal Express).  He continued on in the aviation industry with McDonnell Douglas (Boeing), an aircraft manufacturing company.

In 1984, he joined Prudential-Bache Trade Corporation as a vice president and has been in the trade finance field ever since.  After running his own trading company, he joined GE Capital Commercial Services in 1998 as senior vice president of Trade Finance.

Mr. Denhert helped start Pacific Asset Funding in September 2001 as managing director.  Pacific Asset Funding is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pacific LifeCorp, the parent company of Pacific Life.
