Mr. Nasser joined Pacific Life in August, 1991 as assistant vice president, Asset/Liability Management in the Pension Investments area.  He was promoted to vice president, Asset/Liability Strategies in 1995 and in January 2004, he was named chief derivatives officer with responsibility for managing and coordinating all aspects of the use of derivatives at Pacific Life.  In 2005, Mr. Nasser joined the Investment Management Division as vice president, Portfolio Management with responsibility over Pacific Life’s general account portfolios.  Mr. Nasser was promoted to senior vice president, Portfolio Management in 2008.  He continues to oversee the general account and advises Pacific Life’s product divisions and subsidiaries on product design, investment opportunities, and hedging strategies.

Prior to working for Pacific Life, Mr. Nasser was employed by First Boston Corporation as vice president in charge of strategy for municipal bond sales and trading.  He was also head strategist for Financial Futures and Options.
