Business History
Mr. Celentano joined Pacific Life in 1992 as assistant vice president, Product Management in the Institutional Products Division. In 1999, he was promoted to vice president, Structured Products and was named senior vice president, Product Management in 2006.
Currently, Mr. Celentano heads a variety of functional areas within the Investment Management Division including Product Management, Actuarial, Accounting and Reporting, Operations and Compliance, and Information Technology. Mr. Celentano is responsible for the division's financial and investment accounting, reporting, valuation, asset/liability management, operations, and compliance. He also oversees the products offered by the division which include GICs, synthetic GICs, funding agreements, institutional annuities, structured settlements, and separate accounts.
Prior to joining Pacific Life, Mr. Celentano held senior consultant and senior researcher positions at Travelers Insurance Company and CIGNA in Hartford, CT. Mr. Celentano also has served as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Irvine in the areas of accounting and investments.
