Pacific Life Pac-10 Men’s Basketball Tournament
On Saturday, March 14, 2009, the USC Trojans defeated the Arizona State Sun Devils in an exciting match up at the 2009 Pacific Life PAC-10 Basketball Tournament at the Staples Center. This was the USC Trojans first PAC-10 tournament championship title which automatically advanced them into the 2009 NCAA Tournament.
The 2010 Pacific Life PAC-10 Tournament will be played at the Staples Center and will feature all 10 teams in the conference competing in a single-elimination tournament over a period of 4 days. Dates for this event have not been announced. Pacific Life became the new title sponsor in March 2003, and has a multi-year agreement with PAC-10 Properties, the tournament's organizing body. Televised on Fox Sports Net and CBS, the Pacific Life PAC-10 Tournament allows Pacific Life to extend and strengthen its brand awareness among a quality audience.

Pacific Life Holiday Bowl
Before a crowd of 59,106 fans at Qualcomm Stadium, the University of Oregon Ducks defeated the Oklahoma State Cowboys 42-31 at the 31st annual Pacific Life Holiday Bowl. The 2008 game was played on Tuesday, December 30 and was telecast on ESPN.
Associated with the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl game is a year-round Festival of Events, including a golf tournament, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and a parade. The date for the 2009 game will be Wednesday, December 30 at 5 p.m. PST.
The Pacific Life Holiday Bowl has played to more than 90% of capacity since its inception. Of the 31 games that have taken place, 19 have been decided in the final two minutes, 17 have had a victory margin of one touchdown or less, and one (1984 game between BYU and Michigan) was played for the national championship.
