Since 1998, the Pacific Life Foundation’s 3T’s of Education program has supported K-12 schools through direct funding with grants ranging from $1,500 to $10,000. The “T”s stand for teacher training, textbooks, and technology and the grants must be designated in one of these targeted areas.
K-12 schools cannot apply for 3T grants, as it is an invitation-only process.
Annually in February, K-12 eligible schools are notified by the Foundation. Eligibility is determined through an annual Pacific Life employee survey that identifies schools nationwide that have a concentration of children whose parents or grandparents are Pacific Life employees.
In 2008, 104 K-12 schools received 3T grants totaling $316,000. For a listing of these schools, please click here.
Over the past ten years, the Pacific Life Foundation is pleased to have contributed $3,332,000 to strengthen the learning environment of hundreds of K-12 schools.
